While they look forward to a bright future and progress in academic and professional fields, they are unreasonably trapped among stringent immigration laws.
Educational Siege of Students
These students, many of whom have worked for years to achieve these positions, are now faced with endless obstacles. Immigration laws, especially for those living in war-torn and pressured areas, are so stringent that many of these young people are forced to cancel their plans or even drop out. This situation clearly reflects the deep inequalities present in global educational and immigration systems.
Many of these students speak of feelings of despair and frustration. They cannot understand why, in today's world, despite advancements in technology and communication, they still face such serious challenges. This reality not only harms their future but also damages the Gaza community, where education is seen as one of the ways to escape the current situation.
A Dark or Bright Future?
While some students continue to strive for alternative solutions, many others have become tired and hopeless about this situation. They are seeking international support and attention to their problems, hoping that one day their voices will be heard and they can achieve their dreams. But in the meantime, the main question is whether the world values these young people and their aspirations.
It seems that the main issue is not only the inability to cross borders but also the insufficient attention to humanitarian conditions and human rights in these crises. In this situation, the academic and professional futures of these students remain shrouded in uncertainty.
