With the rapid growth of artificial intelligence, some researchers and experts have examined the ability of this technology to issue fatwas. In this context, a new study has evaluated artificial intelligence in ۳۰ religious issues and has attempted to answer the question of whether artificial intelligence can be viewed as a credible source for fatwas.
However, this question is not easily answerable. While artificial intelligence can serve as a helpful tool in analyzing and gathering information, it also carries specific risks and challenges. Among these challenges is the inability of artificial intelligence to deeply understand religious and social concepts, which may lead to the issuance of incorrect fatwas.
The Future of Fatwas and Artificial Intelligence

Can we allow an artificial intelligence system to make decisions in such a sensitive area and, in fact, take part of the religious authority?
In this regard, some experts believe that artificial intelligence can act as a tool to enhance the quality of fatwas and facilitate access to religious information, but at the same time, clear boundaries for its use must be established. It seems that this topic requires further discussion and investigation to reach a logical and acceptable conclusion.
